Mission24 Update: May 2026
Warm greetings from all of us in Mission24 in the wonderful name of Jesus !
In 2 Cor 10, verses 15-17, the apostle Paul said, “…as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, to preach the Gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s sphere of accomplishment. But he who glories, let him glory IN THE LORD !”
The ministry of the Gospel is always a work of FAITH. Faith for guidance, for provision, faith to get up and go, trusting the Lord for His boldness, strength, grace and power to fill us, give us the words to speak, and that God will confirm His Word with signs following in salvations, and miracles. This He has always done. We have good reason to have faith in His faithfulness to His Word, to His character, His covenant, and for the glory of His Son. The reach and work of the ministry has been growing as we continue to step out in faith and pursue the Matthew 24:14 vision, equipping the saints, and reaching the nations from the UK to the ends of the earth!
One of our teams (including myself) have just returned from a powerful time of equipping ministering to a network of Churches in British Columbia, and then taking them out with us in evangelism. It was a dynamic and life changing time for many as day after day The Holy Spirit was poured out. Some of the leaders said “we have not experienced anything like this for over 40 years, since the “Jesus revolution !” Writing on behalf of the Salt and Light Churches in Western Canada, Andrew Freeman says ” I wanted to thank you all for your massive contribution to us over last week. What a joy to see the way that God moved amongst us, both out on the street and in our meetings together. Seeing people come alive as they realised and took hold of the authority that we have in Jesus and received the freedom that God was bringing was a highlight. Over our days with you, we saw people healed, delivered, set free, saved, family situations touched, people speaking in tongues for the first time, people filled with the Spirit, strongholds brought down in our thinking, boldness increase, revelation come and much more! We so appreciated the spirit in which you came, none came as an expert or to teach down to people, but to serve, and to lift up and to equip our churches to be able to do the work God has for us to do. It really was as Paul spoke in 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” Thank you so much for walking faithfully in the truth and power of God. Thank you for being willing to equip and stir up the body of Christ. With love and affection for you all, and with increased longing for the King and his Kingdom, and excitement for all that God is going to do !” Praise The Lord !
We are so grateful to The Lord to be a part of what HE is doing in and through His Church, and thank YOU for standing with us and enabling us to do what He has called us to do through your prayers and generosity in making a significant Kingdom difference in the lives of so many around the world. Glory to God!
Equipping the Church, Reaching the world
As you are reading this, Elaine and I are in Romania for a week, leading a team reaching out to the poor in mountainous villages around the Transylvanian region. We really value your prayers for The Lord’s strength, grace, and anointing to flow in our lives and all the team as we seek to encourage the local Pastors, equip the churches, and reach the unsaved from village to village. Thankyou!
There is so much to report from the last month, but let me give you a few snippets to rejoice with us in all The Lord has been doing…
Athens, Greece
It was a joy once again to serve the Churches in Athens, notably Logos Church, where we held some training and outreach evenings, and also conducted outreaches in the main squares, and amongst the Gypsy communities, drug addicts, and prostitutes. We saw many miracles, many salvations and deliverances as Jesus reached out through the team in compassion and power. Heather Kirkland comments, “So grateful to serve with my Mission 24 family this week in Athens 🇬🇷 We saw lives transformed—salvations, healings, miracles, and deliverances by Jesus ❤️🔥🙌🏼🕊️.The body was equipped and raised up and the poor had the good news preached to them!! What a deep joy and honour to labour with Jesus and dear friends in the fields…”
Salt & Light online Mission Training
Following the success of the Online Training and missions we did for several Slovak churches last year, we have had the privilege of widening the same Mission training (Impact Course) to churches within the Salt & Light network of Churches this year, in France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, and other UK Churches too. Steve Thomas, The European Director of Salt & Light comments “Thanks so much for the brilliant foundation and excellent course together. There really was an impartation of faith, and clarity of conviction. Unmistakable. Really looking forward to the fruit that follows…” Whilst there has already been some fruit from those who attended the course stepping out in the Gospel in their own communities, we value your prayers as Mission24 Teams visit Churches across Europe over the next four months, doing practical training and outreach amongst the churches and communities where the online training was received. Thankyou.
Can YOU help us ?
As we communicate about Europe, a number of the churches we are helping over the next four months in Romania, Greece, Denmark, France, Germany, and Slovakia are poorer churches or “start ups” (Church plants), who do not have the resources to cover the costs of sending and helping teams in their ministries, and in the case of Romania, we will also be providing practical help through our mercy arm, Mission24 Life, to help poor families in the villages. The overall cost of these outreaches goes into thousands of pounds. Reaching out with the Gospel into such communities, and helping the poor is, of course, part of our “reason d’être” …why we exist…but this is where “the Power of partnership” really comes into play, where together we can make a real difference in the lives of these communities and churches in unreached areas. So, if you feel you could stand with us and help us to help them by investing into our European outreaches this year, we would be very grateful. Thankyou!
School of Ministry & Mission 2026
It’s been such a blessing to run our School of Ministry & Mission again this year, making it 350 believers who have so far completed the course, and been equipped to fulfil the Great Commission in the Power of The Holy Spirit. We have just had our “Open Day” where prospective students came to “taste” what a day in the Mission24 SOMM is like. Zan Buchanan, our Operations Director, says, ” What a powerful Open Day as the current year’s students were joined by prospective students considering the next intake for a day of anointed worship, powerful teaching and ministry! God moved in power and lives were ignited for Jesus 🔥” This next year of training starts in September, and will be held in Stamford, Lincolnshire, right in the middle of the country, just off the M1. Kingdom Advance conference 2026
We are coming to that time of year where we gather our evangelists, teams, partners, and wider Mission24 Family (along with visitors…why not see who you could invite this year ?) to celebrate what Jesus is doing through the Movement, encourage one another, receive faith building ministry, worship, and encounter wonderful “times of refreshing and empowering” in The Presence of God. This year we are blessed to have Pastor Dave Smith, from Kingsgate Community Church, Peterborough, ministering to us, alongside myself and other speakers from Mission24. Please come and join us and let’s celebrate together and receive His Word and His touch afresh for the next fruitful season He has for our lives and ministries.
