July 2025 Update: Urgent!! Byumba Nursery / LIFE Centre Rwanda

During the months of June & July, Mission24 have conducted successful outreaches in Rotherham, Exeter, Crewe, Manchester and Spain, leading hundreds of people to Jesus. We also rejoice that we have been able to graduate over 50 further Evangelists & Gospel harvesters for the UK and beyond from our Schools of Mission & Ministry. To God be the glory! 

However, while this harvest has been taking place in the UK and Europe, the work we have been helping in Byumba, Rwanda faces a major challenge, and I am writing to you personally, to ask for your help. 

As many of you know, since 2019, we have helped 112 children to be the first in their families, in five generations, to break the cycle of poverty by helping them to get onto the ladder of education. In the process of which, they, and many of their families, have come to know Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. 

Following a recent visit by the local Government, it was noted that the current rented facilities we are using are not up to the required national standards, and closure is likely if building work to provide the new facility is not continued to completion. This gives us an urgency to see all the provision raised for this great project and the work completed as soon as possible.

Mission24 is helping to raise the required £50,000 to complete the building of the Nursery (Hope Academy) in Gashirwe, Byumba, Rwanda. This will be a multi-purpose building where the main use is as classrooms for the Nursery children during the school day, with a playground so that the children have space to run outside a separate toilet block and a kitchen area.
