Building Hope in Byumba: Life Centre & Nursery Construction Update
Greetings from Byumba, Rwanda! We are filled with gratitude and joy as we share an encouraging update on the ongoing construction of the Life Center and Nursery—a vision that is truly becoming a reality before our eyes.
Over the past three weeks, we have witnessed remarkable progress. By God’s faithfulness and through your generous support, the retaining wall has been completed, doors and windows installed, and the walls of the building continue to rise. Each brick laid is a testimony to what can happen when faith, generosity, and community come together.
This season of construction has brought more than structural advancement—it has created meaningful employment for around 150 people in the local community. Many of those working on the project are parents and grandparents of children who attend our school. Your support is not only building a centre; it is providing dignity, income, and hope for families right now.
We are deeply thankful to Jonathan and Elaine for staying closely connected throughout this journey, and to every supporter who has faithfully prayed and stood with us. Your encouragement has been constant, and your prayers continue to sustain the work.
As we look ahead to the coming month, we are preparing to enter the finishing stage of construction. This includes clearing the surrounding grounds, installing electricity, laying flooring, and painting. These final steps will bring the Life Center closer to completion and ready to welcome children and families into this space in January—a place of care, learning, and transformation.
Already, the impact is being felt. Through devotions taking place during the construction process, two people have come to know Christ. Even before the building is finished, lives are being touched by the presence and love of God.

Together, we are building more than walls—we are building hope, faith, and a future for the community of Byumba.
