March 2025 Update: Rwanda Breakthrough!
As we have just returned from Rwanda, we rejoice in all that the Lord has done. We hope that through this report, photos, and videos, we can convey some of the joy we have witnessed as Jesus saved more than 6,500 people and healed, delivered, and helped many, as the Gospel was shared in word, works, and wonders.
Mark 7:37 says of Jesus, “And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, ‘He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.'”
These very miracles of healing were witnessed again and again as the team ministered to the people of Gicumbi. Many blind people saw, disabled people walked, and tumors dissolved—to name but a few of the many miracles Jesus performed among us as His name was proclaimed in the schools, streets, markets, and open-air events. Glory to God, and thank you for standing with us to make this great outreach possible through your generous gifts and faith-filled prayers.
Every day, the Gospel was boldly preached in the streets and markets of the communities surrounding Gicumbi.
And in the schools, alongside free Bibles given to all the students by the Gideons (now known as “Good News for Everyone”).
Practical acts of kindness and ministry to the children at Hope Academy also touched the hearts of many, who responded in faith to receive God’s amazing grace and give their lives to Jesus
There was also Leadership Training and encouragement for the Pastors across the various communities where we were working
Across five evenings we held events in the same communities where the team was ministering on the streets, in markets and schools, and every night hundreds responded to the Gospel, were saved, delivered, healed, and baptised in The Spirit.
We are so grateful to God for all that He is doing in Mission24 at this time. The schools of Mission and Ministry, Leadership & Church Planting are thriving (keep your eyes out for our April Update, where we will share the details of our new schools starting in September). The Connect Day, Impact Training in various places around the UK, the Slovak online school, and the formation of new eHubs (local evangelistic teams) have all been very blessed, and we give the Lord all the praise for the growth He is bringing.
Over the next month, we will be conducting missions and training in South Africa, in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, George, and Johannesburg. Please stand with us in prayer and faith for Jesus to move mightily in saving and healing many, and equipping the saints across the churches. Upon our return, we have a mission in Halesowen in the second week of April, an impact week in Devon, and a team leaving for Tucumán, Argentina.
In closing, may I say that Elaine and I are delighted to announce that our dear friend Zan Buchanan has felt God call him to step up as the Operations Director of Mission24 on a full-time basis. This has been much needed as the ministry and movement continue to grow and develop. We believe a great harvest is ahead of us, and we need to expand the team to handle what the Lord is entrusting to us. Understandably, this is a step of faith for us and for Zan and his family. We would ask you, if you are not already, to prayerfully consider becoming a regular financial partner with Mission24.
