December 2024: CHRISTMAS UPDATE
A very Happy Christmas to you from all of us at Mission24!
In Luke 2 verse 10, the angel said,
“Do not be afraid, for behold I bring you good news of great joy which will be to ALL people ! “
In the midst of so much fear and apprehension in our world, we are called to be Good News people, recipients and proclaimers of another King, another Kingdom…where the free gift of His righteousness, peace and joy is the message burning in our hearts and on our lips. Indeed, in the midst of it all, The Gospel is thriving, “bearing fruit all over the world…”Some national christian leaders would say there are “rumours of revival” in our nation today, with a greater number of people responding to Christ and a greater openness to the Gospel than we have seen for years. Jesus said , ” when you see these things happening “lift up your eyes, for your redemption draws near”…so let’s do exactly that as we come to the end of 2024 and look forward to a New Year…fixing our eyes on Jesus, reaping the harvest He’s called us to, and looking expectantly for His soon return.
We are so grateful to you for standing with us to boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus this year. It’s been an amazing time in Mission24. A year of growth, miracles, and thousands of salvations. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement have all played a part in making this happen. Thankyou!… and glory to God!
Argentina
In our November update, I shared with you of all the wonderful miracles that happened in Tucuman province…the many who responded to the Gospel, in hospital, prison, on the streets, plus Government leaders who received Christ, police, and many in evening evangelistic meetings.
Following on from that glorious first week, we ministered in Buenos Aires, conducting equipping sessions for the churches, outreaches on the streets, and several “nights of miracles” where Jesus did some amazing things…healing the mute, deaf, blind, and crippled, leading again to many salvations. Please watch a couple of the testimonies below.
Further to our work in Argentina, Wayne Hudson, who leads his own ministry (Go and tell) as well as being a Mission24 evangelist, led a team of evangelists from our school of Ministry in Manchester to Mexico and again saw thousands come to Christ and the Lord confirming His Word with mighty signs and wonders. All together we saw over 5300 salvations, many miracles, and more students equipped to “go” to the nations…glory to God!
School of Leadership & Church Planting
We have just completed our first year of the school of Leadership & church planting, and this month, we have had the privilege of sending out 23 leaders to pioneer new ministries, teams, and churches from the school. Praise God!
The Next school starts in January.
Connect Day : Taking The Land!
Our next Connect Day is on March 1st 2025 with the missionary pioneer Paul Hallam of Lighthouse Church, Manchester. It’s going to be an inspirational time in God’s Presence as we look at “Taking the land!” Why not plan to join us by signing in using the link below.
Rwanda Appeal
In February 2025, we will return to Gicumbi Rwanda to train and encourage the Pastors, and reach many more people for Christ in this developing city. The cost to the ministry for this outreach event, inclusive of flights and Accommodation comes to £20,000.
It is one of our most expensive trips of the year but is always very fruitful, and used by God to transform thousands of lives. Last year, after thousands of secondary school students came to Christ, the local education authority told us that they had had massive problems with drug addiction and prostitution in their schools, but since our teams had brought the Gospel in, these issues had been drastically reduced. We are grateful to God for the awesome power of the love of Christ to change lives in such tangible ways. Nothing is impossible with God!
So, we are asking you once again if you would prayerfully consider investing again in the salvation of thousands of precious Rwandan lives. If you are able, and willing to do so, you can give to this mission using the link below.
