On Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th October 2016, Mission 24 went on a weekend mission with Beacon Community Church in Stalham, Norfolk to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the local people. We set out to have a devotional time of worship and encouragement in the mornings, swiftly followed by door to door street work before gathering for lunch at Beacon church. At the end of each day we spent personal time in prayer, before inviting people to hear a message in the evening meeting.
Mission 24 is a Christian Ministry founded by Jonathan Conrathe. We are committed to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in every nation, the equipping of “ordinary believers” to do the works of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, and the establishing of new communities of believers in unreached areas.
A vision to impact the nations
Our vision is based on Jesus’ words in Matt 24:14 : “ This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to every nation, and then the end shall come.” Over 27 years, Jonathan has been privileged to equip believers in supernatural ministry, strengthen leaders, build up local churches and conduct missions in 46 nations of the world.
News from the mission field:
The Mission 24 team ran a successful mission in Uganda, Mityana from Tuesday 9th – Sunday 14th August. Wednesday 10th began with the team and the church gathering for a morning devotional of prayer and worship in preparation for the mission. In the afternoon, through to the evening we joined the local people in the ‘Love Mityana Procession’ where we declared the love of God to the surrounding town. We ended the evening with a crusade and witnessed many people receive salvation and healing.
Mission 24 have had a great weekend, being a part of the move of God that encapsulated the launch of the annual Christian festival, hosted by Totnes United Free Church. On Saturday 2nd July at Nobles Park, Totnes, believers and non-believers gathered and made connections.
